Indigenous Knowledge and Sustainable Practices
Recognizing the invaluable role of indigenous wisdom in sustainable development, AUCE’s Center for Indigenous Knowledge and Sustainable Practices is committed to preserving, integrating, and promoting Africa’s traditional knowledge systems. This Center works with local elders, cultural leaders, and environmental experts to document and apply indigenous practices in areas such as agriculture, resource management, and health.
Gender Equality and Social Inclusion
AUCE’s Center for Gender Equality and Social Inclusion is dedicated to creating an equitable and inclusive Africa where everyone, regardless of gender or background, has equal opportunities to thrive. This Center focuses on breaking down barriers to social inclusion by empowering women, youth, and marginalized communities with resources, skills, and support networks that enable them to participate fully in economic and social development.
Vocational Skills and Entrepreneurship
AUCE’s Center for Vocational Skills and Entrepreneurship empowers individuals with the tools to thrive in the modern workforce and build resilient local economies. This Center focuses on developing practical skills and entrepreneurial knowledge, enabling communities to foster small businesses, create jobs, and reduce poverty. Through partnerships with initiatives like the Women and Youth Empowerment Hubs and the Empowerment through Vocational and Higher Education Initiative (EVHEI), AUCE provides vocational training tailored to local markets.
